BaliSafe is the first health & safety consultancy in Bali. We work closely with businesses in the tourism and hospitality industry designing safety programs designed to suit our clients needs and ensuring their customers are eating, playing, staying and working safely.
First we are launching the BaliSafe “EatSafe” program. This program has been designed to assist food retail businesses as a Food Service Recovery Prevention initiative through training and promoting a safe product to increase customer confidence within hospitality and tourism industry in Bali.
Serious food-related illness reported by tourists have been increasing via social media and tourism websites. This is causing concern not only for the Bali tourists, but also for businesses with a reduction in customer traffic and business profits.
The effect on businesses is rapidly increasing with tourists freely publicising personal experiences to oncoming tourists. This is resulting in a financial impact and in some cases closure of food retailers businesses. Additionally, established Travel & Tourism businesses for Bali have been advertising food safety tips such as, managing hygiene and places to avoid. This advertising is supporting the increasing concern about the safety of Bali food retailers products.
The BaliSafe EatSafe program is here to help the Bali hospitality and tourism Industry to improve business by adopting the basic international ‘best practices’ for food safety and build confidence in their customers. Through education in food safety, support in the implementation of basic safety programs, and marketing our clients food business efforts, is the critical support needed in creating a known healthier and safer product and reducing the stigma of Bali food safety concerns amongst tourists.
